Thanks to EVERYBODY who stopped by my table at NYCBM last weekend and an extra Thank You to everybody who bought a copy of the book. NYCBM was my first con and it hopefully won't be my last. The reaction to my comic, BEER & COOKIES, was very positive and very much appreciated. Even those who simply flipped through the book had a laugh or two at the jokes inside and that too was appreciated as it made me believe that i must be doing something right humor wise. There were multiple comments from comic fans comparing my book to MAD Magazine which was pretty much the look and feel i was going for so again i appreciate the high praise.
Also, Big Thanks to Brian and the fine folks at Endeavor Printing in Long Island City for the amazing printing job on the book and to Mr. D. Douglas for the extra assist with the table.
Posted below are a few con sketches i did for some cool fans. Enjoy!
a kid wolfman character from an original story i did in my comic done on a envelope adorned with a Universal Studios Monsters postage stamp. A pretty fucking intimidating surface to draw my first con sketch on but it came out real nice on this creme colored surface.
done as per request in a fan's sketchbook. A mash up of Tin Tin and the Tin guy from Metal Men. a really original idea and my favorite sketch done at the con.
Batman KA-POW!-ing The Joker.
Spider-Man just hanging out.
