Live sketchbook comic cover art done on site for Ed at Carmine Street Comics (34 Carmine St. in the West Village).
Harley Quinn sketchbook cover art done on Batman:Detective Comics/Issue 20. In the background you see a little bit of my work environment at the store as i'm surrounded by the art of my fellow on site "Comicsmiths". My rickety but functional chair and art table rests on a platform which is somewhat elevated (higher than a foot stool but just below sea level) that sits in front of the Carmine Street Comics store window so that i may hopefully pique the interest of passersby and potential customers.
A closer pic of the Harley Quinn sketchbook cover art:
A work in progress piece of "psychedelic" art i've been working on periodically over the past several weeks at the store. It's being done on a long strip of discarded matte board.
Yet another shot of the progress since i last worked on it.
If you're interested in purchasing a piece of sketchbook cover art from me just drop by Carmine Street Comics after 7 PM every Wednesday with your comics and moneys in hand and i'll vandalize it with cartoony goodness!!! The comic, not the moneys. The moneys i keep.
